Ok, it has been a while.

Many, many things have been going on since my last post (and this might be my last one too).
I have visited friends on weekends and while the weekdays slowly go by, I have been packing for New Mexico.
The reason for New Mexico is because I am student teaching this fall and decided to use the opportunity to go off-campus while being a part of the Calvin program...GO KNIGHTS!
I have been at the clothing stores and other places to get my, well clothes and other supplies.
I am thrilled for this new experience and will be telling all about it when I get back.

Well apparently I had written a new post about a week ago, but sadly it did not publish.
So I guess "The Greatest blog ever written" will never be seen again.

I have been working a lot lately at my job.
Two weekends ago I took my Teacher Cert. Test and did relatively well.
Last weekend I took CPR/FirstAid/AED training (7hours worth).
Fun...
Then I drove to Lansing, picked up my roommate, went to Auburn Indiana to a wedding reception, drove back to Lansing and then home; all withing 9 hours on Sunday.
What a fulfilling weekend.

It is only Tuesday?...
I have been thinking of the cottage since dinner on Saturday night.
Saturday at 3pm = cottage.

Dry Humor

So, I thought it was about time to update again.
I have started a summer class.
This class is Probability and Stats (retake).
The first time I took the class I was excited to learn more about the stuff in mathematics that I like; however, I had the worst prof ever.
So now I am on take two with my favorite professor ever...wow what a change.
My professor has the class at the edge of their seats everyday.
He also gives out dry humor.
It took the rest of the class a day to understand him and then they joined me in laughter.
I am looking forward to hopefully acing this class!

Another note,
just like my bro's "free time" that he has....I play with my video game system.
I have morning class and then do homework and have the rest of the night for freedom.
I also have joined a 20's (Grow) group from my church.
We get together and talk and eat and drink and sometimes I steal my bro's alcohol to give to the group....

Thirdly,
I saw 'I love you man' last night with work friends.
Wow.
First half - gross humor ------- Second half - hilarious.

Now time to cut the lawn and receive $25 for it.

ugh

Ugh....
Today I put in a 9.5 hour work day.
I was working at Johnny's and had to do a ton of prep
(making sandwiches, pasta cups, veggie cups, bacon, and the list goes on).
Even though I enjoy getting paid, I did have to get up at 5:30am
and work on a day that was not busy.
I mean come on, who checks the water system in the building the following day and still decides to keep Johnny's open?

I love my job.

Soon I will be walking in graduation and then coming back to take

And yet it seems to be the worst time possible.
I have three days of class left, and then exams.
This weekend is all about the homework that I have procrastinated and finding time around drowsiness to finish it.
I have made great progress so far.

In the beginning...

Today is my first blog.
Welcome all who will be reading.

Let me start with what you have missed, lately.
2 weeks ago I went to Indiana with a friend from camp to meet up with other camp friends.
We partied like it was 2001.
My friend and I stayed for the weekend and drove back in the rain.
Fun stuff!
Last weekend I hung out with my high school friends and watched the NFL draft for 5 of the 7ish hours.
Also fun stuff!
I have some odd or even days left before the end of school, plus graduation.
I am excited to be done, well at least this semester.
(Anyone catching my humor?)
I am trying quite hard to stay on top of homework, but some classes just are hanging me from the coat rack.
I hope my final grades won't be so bad.
Today was exciting/
Since it is academic advising, I visited my usual Art classroom at Ada C.S.
After my volunteering, I observed 2nd and 5th grade.
Mrs. DeKoster's 2nd grade class was coloring, and I got to talk to some of the students.
I also observed Mr. Hoo's room. His students were having a math competition...MATH!!!
I helped the girls side, they won!
I was thankful that I could watch Mr. Hoo, since I never had him.
He is a great teacher!

Now I must part from my venting.
